Promotion to Higher Clas
1.Every student is required to get a qualifying grade D (VI to IX) or above in all the subjects excluding 6th additional subject as per scheme of study for the purpose of promotion to next class.
2. A student getting E1 or E2 (VI to VIII) in one or more subjects will have to improve his/her performance in one subsequent attempt to obtain qualifying Grade D in these subjects.
3.A student getting D grade (I toV) in one or two subjects will have to improve his/her performance in one subsequent attempt to obtain qualifying Grade C in these subjects. D grade in three or more subjects will result in disqualification from promotion.

Improvement Chance
After SUMMATIVE ASSESSMENT II in class IX, a student will get only one more chance for improvement to obtain the qualifying grade D. This is also applicable to those students who are not able to appear in Summative Assessment due to sickness.

Classes XI & XII
1.The students of Class XI and XII will be assessed regularly through Weekly tests, Revision tests, Half Yearly, Pre-Board Examination (only for Class XII) and Final Examination. The Final Examination for Class XII will be conducted by CBSE whereas for Class XI will be conducted by the school under the guidelines given by CBSE.
2.Pass percentage in each subject is 33% { in case of subject with practical, 33% in theory & 33% in practical}. Students who fail in any two subjects with less than 25% will be considered as failed. Students who fail in any one subject with more than 25% marks will be placed in compartment.
3.Students who fail in theory, but qualify in practical will be considered failed in that particular subject.
