| The activity was aimed at exploring facts about the prominent rivers of India, Britain, Italy
and Montenegro. The students gained knowledge about the most and the least polluted
rivers of these countries. They also learned about the factors affecting the rivers and the
measures adopted by each country to protect them. Class V students enthusiastically
participated in Poster Making Competition and expressed their concern for the rivers through
their creativity. Students of class VI developed their research and analytical skills by creating
a Fact file based on a comparative study of the rivers and presented the facts collected during
online classes. Students of class VII took part in an online Quiz on the topic ‘Major rivers of
the world’ which enhanced their knowledge about the rivers of the world. |
