PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

"Strength does not come from physical capacity. It comes from an indomitable will." - Mahatma Gandhi

Dear Parents,

It is with immense joy and relief that we resumed in person classes and it feels like a celebration to overcome the disruption caused by the pandemic to our education system. The pandemic has affected every aspect of our daily lives way beyond what we ever imagined. We lost the sense of community and togetherness; many plans were shattered and many losses were endured. As a school community, we were not able to experience the joy of celebrating the growth, performance and achievements of our students.

Though the crisis slowed us down, it did not stop us from achieving our goals. We sailed on by navigating new paths, discovering hidden resources and taking advantage of technology. We all learned to be more adaptable and flexible, quickly pivoting from face to online to hybrid learning and thus became more resilient than ever.

It was heartening to see students and staff members embracing the new challenges by becoming tech savvy! It was a demonstration of the Shiv Vani school spirit: drawing strength from the values that were laid down by our school’s Founders. Amidst all the storms we endured, we made sure that the teaching learning process goes uninterrupted. It has been our mission to make what seems impossible really happen. I must applaud our teachers for working with dedication and using detailed planning to create innovative teaching resources and interesting methods to ensure and maintain the supreme quality of education that parents have come to expect from us.

Our school staff has played crucial roles in carrying the work forward and motivating the students to put forth their best efforts. They have worked diligently to develop and implement ways to encourage students and help them maintain their academic progress.

As our students have physically given life and breath to the school again, I must appreciate the patience, persistence and super-human efforts of our parents, teachers and especially the students for rising high above these difficult circumstances. As you will notice, this edition of ‘Trinetra’ is different from the previous ones. Each word in it expresses our gratitude towards life and each page reflects our resilience and strength by which we have overcome all the obstacles and worked hard towards preserving and bolstering the spirit of the school.

I extend my heartfelt gratitude to all parents who stood shoulder to shoulder with us with the common aim of supporting our students to continue their education. Today I am confident that we are working together to raise strong and dedicated future citizens of India: filled with noble values, knowledge and resilience.
